Pet contamination needs targeted treatment
Urine can travel below the visible surface and may affect carpet fibres, backing and underpad. A standard clean can improve appearance, but heavy contamination may require targeted enzyme treatment and, in severe cases, additional remediation.
What the treatment does
We identify affected areas as best as possible, apply a treatment appropriate to the condition and allow the required dwell time before extraction or follow-up cleaning.
Pricing
Pet enzyme treatment starts at $69 per affected area. Heavy odour treatment starts at $79 per area. Extensive contamination may require a site-specific quote.
What we will not promise
No responsible cleaner should guarantee complete odour removal where contamination has penetrated subfloor, tack strip, underpad or other hidden materials. We explain what is realistically achievable.
Frequently asked questions
Will pet urine smell disappear completely?
It depends on how deep and widespread the contamination is. Surface and fibre contamination is easier to treat than urine that has reached underpad or subfloor.
Is pet treatment included in normal carpet cleaning?
No. Standard pre-treatment is included, but targeted enzyme and heavy odour treatments are separate services.
Can you treat a sofa?
Selected upholstery can be assessed for pet-related contamination, depending on the fabric and construction.
